Best Shining Fates Chase Cards and Current Values

By TCG Emporium Editorial Team · Published 18 October 2026 · Updated 18 October 2026

Morpeko SV044/SV122 leads the Shining Fates cards with enough recent sales to price, and only just. Raw copies have been selling for £10 to £14, with Suicune, Galarian Ponyta, Yamper and Ditto VMAX all within a few pounds of it. Charizard VMAX SV107/SV122 is too thinly sold right now to price, so it is not ranked.

Most of the priced cards sit in the Shiny Vault, the SV-numbered subset, and every ranked card sells for £14 or less raw.

All figures are English, single-card eBay completed sales from 4 to 17 October 2026, converted at £0.7499 to the dollar (16 October 2026). Last checked 18 October 2026. Charizard VMAX SV107/SV122 had only three recent raw sales and Ditto VMAX 51 had none, so both are left out rather than guessed. Ranks 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6 and 7, and 9 and 10 share the same middle price, so the order within each pair is close to arbitrary.

Morpeko SV044/SV122

The top of a crowded group. Akira Komayama draws Morpeko with both arms raised and its mouth open, against a white panel with gold sparkles and rainbow streaks. Eight raw sales between 10 and 15 October ran from £10 to £14 after trimming.

Only 65 copies hold a PSA 10, under our 500 cut-off, so we show no graded figure. The range overlaps those of the cards below it, so a few sales could change the order at the top.

Suicune SV022/SV122

Level with Galarian Ponyta, and a tighter spread. Kagemaru Himeno shows Suicune mid-stride with its blue mane streaming back and white ribbons trailing behind, on the same sparkling white panel. Seven raw sales between 10 and 14 October ran from £11 to £13.

It is one of only two Shiny Vault cards in the ranked ten with a PSA 10 figure we can show, and the gap to a raw copy is large. It is covered below.

Galarian Ponyta SV047/SV122

Pale green mane, white body. Sanosuke Sakuma has Galarian Ponyta mid-gallop with gold sparkles around it. Eight raw sales between 4 and 16 October ran from £11 to £13, drawn from a longer window than Suicune's.

Its PSA 10 population is 142, so there is no graded figure to show.

Yamper SV039/SV122

Close behind, with a lower floor. sowsow draws Yamper side-on and running, tongue out, in pink and yellow. Eight raw sales between 5 and 16 October ran from £9 to £13, starting a pound or so below the three cards above it.

The PSA 10 population is 85, again under our cut-off.

The grading outliers: Suicune and Ditto VMAX

Raw, Suicune SV022/SV122 sells for £11 to £13. A PSA 10 has a median of about £127, roughly ten times a raw copy, and 601 copies hold that grade. Ditto VMAX SV119/SV122 sells raw for £9 to £11, against a PSA 10 median of about £94, more than eight times as much, with 1,877 graded.

PLANETA Tsuji's Ditto VMAX is a full art, with a large blue Ditto against a lilac and purple background, red bubbles at the top right and gold sparkles. Two cards just outside the ranked ten show the same pattern: Poké Kid 70 has a PSA 10 median of about £71 and Ditto V SV118/SV122 about £90, Poké Kid at roughly ten times its raw price and Ditto V at well over ten times.

The gap says a clean, well-centred copy is worth far more than an average one. It does not say that grading one will pay. Fees, postage both ways and the chance of a 9 rather than a 10 all come off the top, and at raw prices this low they weigh heavily. Our UK grading guide walks through those costs.

Further down the list

  • Minccino SV093/SV122 by MAHOU sells for £5 to £11 raw, the lowest bottom of any ranked range. Its PSA 10 population is 28, so we show no graded figure.
  • Galarian Rapidash SV048/SV122 by Kagemaru Himeno sells for £8 to £11 raw. Its PSA 10 population is 139.
  • Skyla 72 is the only main-set card in the ranked ten. kirisAki's Trainer full art shows Skyla with a hand raised to her head, leaves blowing across a blue sky. It sells for £7 to £12 raw, and a PSA 10 has a median of about £50 with 4,694 graded.
  • Cinccino SV094/SV122 by kirisAki sells for £7 to £9 raw. Its PSA 10 population is 30.
  • Applin SV012/SV122 by otumami sells for £7 to £9 raw. Its PSA 10 population is 59.
  • Poké Kid 70 by Sanosuke Sakuma sells for £7 to £9 raw, just outside the ranked ten.
  • Ditto V SV118/SV122 by Saki Hayashiro sells for £6 to £7 raw.

How we priced these cards

We read the most recent raw eBay completed sales for each card, up to ten, from CardTrack's sold-sales ledger, which covers the UK, US and other eBay sites. With six or more sales we drop the single highest and lowest, then quote the range of the rest. With four or five sales we quote the middle price only, and with fewer than four we leave the card out. Dollars are converted at £0.7499 (16 October 2026).

PSA 10 figures are the median of PSA 10 completed sales, shown only where at least 500 copies hold that grade. The population figures are PSA's own counts as recorded in the ledger. The full method is in our guide on how to value Pokémon cards.

A note on pull rates

We do not publish pull rates for Shining Fates. There are no official odds, and community estimates vary with sample size and product. Our guide to pull rates explains why.

Collector notes

  • Two Ditto VMAX cards. Ditto VMAX 51 is in the main set and Ditto VMAX SV119/SV122 is in the Shiny Vault, both by PLANETA Tsuji. Only the Shiny Vault one had raw sales to price. The number is the only quick way to tell which one a listing means.
  • Shiny Vault numbers carry a prefix. Nine of the ranked ten are SV cards, printed on the card as SV followed by the number and /SV122. Skyla 72 is the main-set exception.
  • Cards by the same illustrator. Kagemaru Himeno drew both Suicune and Galarian Rapidash, kirisAki drew both Skyla and Cinccino, and Sanosuke Sakuma drew Galarian Ponyta and Poké Kid.
  • Evolution pairs. Galarian Ponyta and Galarian Rapidash both rank, as do Minccino and Cinccino. In each pair the first sells for a little more raw.
  • Graded supply varies. PSA 10 populations are 601 for Suicune, 1,877 for Ditto VMAX and 4,694 for Skyla, but under 500 for most of the other ranked Shiny Vault cards. A small population means few slabs to compare, so look at several graded sales before you pay above the median.
  • Check the reverse holo isn't being sold as something more. Many cards have reverse holo versions that share the standard card's number. Our guide to holo and reverse holo cards shows the difference, and our guide to rarity symbols covers the rest.

Questions collectors ask

What is the most valuable Shining Fates card?

Among cards with enough recent sales to rank, Morpeko SV044/SV122 by Akira Komayama, with raw sales from £10 to £14. Charizard VMAX SV107/SV122 is too thinly sold right now to price, so we do not put a figure on it.

How many cards are in Shining Fates?

73 in the main set, plus 122 in the Shiny Vault, numbered SV001 to SV122.

Is a PSA 10 Shining Fates Suicune worth grading?

The gap is large: a PSA 10 has a median of about £127 against £11 to £13 raw. But 601 copies already hold a 10, and fees, postage and the chance of a lower grade all come off the top. Read our UK grading guide before you decide.

Next review due 18 January 2027. We update this guide sooner when prices shift by more than a fifth, or a reprint of Shining Fates reaches UK shops.
