All figures are English, single-card eBay completed sales from 3 to 17 October 2026, converted at £0.7499 to the dollar (16 October 2026). PSA 10 figures are left out where fewer than 500 copies hold that grade. Last checked 18 October 2026.
Persian 78
The card the set is built around. Whisker paints two Persian at a balcony window, looking out over a city lit up at night, with a red curtain at one side. It is quiet and rather cinematic, and it sits well clear of the rest of the set.
Six raw sales between 14 and 16 October ran from £42 to £68. Dropping the highest and lowest leaves £45 to £59, with a middle of about £51.
A PSA 10 sells for about four times a raw copy. The median is £206, and 3,712 copies hold that grade. That is a deep pool of graded Persian, so compare several sales before paying above the median.
Basic Darkness Energy 98
A gold energy card in second place. It is a Hyper Rare with no illustrator credit: a dark eye symbol on a teal ground, ringed with sparkles, under a gold border. Eight raw sales between 3 and 15 October ran from £25 to £49, and the middle of them was about £40.
Only 92 copies have a PSA 10, so we do not publish a PSA 10 figure for it. The same goes for Basic Metal Energy 99, the other gold energy in this list.
Houndoom 66
The darkest card in the set. Taiga Kasai draws Houndoom mid-snarl in grey, black and red, with the head and shoulder filling most of the frame. Seven raw sales between 15 and 17 October gave a range of £27 to £34.
A PSA 10 has a median of £159, about five times the raw price. That is a normal multiple for the Illustration Rares in this set.
Duskull 68
Wide spread, so read the photos. James Turner puts Duskull under a street light beside a house and a bin, all in blue. Eight raw sales between 15 and 17 October ran from £8 to £42, and the middle four sat between £19 and £34.
A spread that wide usually points to condition and centring, so look closely at the photos. The median of about £32 is the figure to anchor on.
Cresselia 71, the grading outlier
Raw, Cresselia 71 sells for £15 to £21, with a middle of about £17. A PSA 10 has a median of £150, more than eight times a raw copy. That is the biggest raw-to-PSA 10 gap of any card on this list.
That gap tells you where the value sits: a clean, well-centred Cresselia is worth far more than an average one. It does not tell you that grading one will pay. Fees, postage both ways and the chance of a 9 rather than a 10 all come off the top. Our UK grading guide walks through those costs.
Further down the list
- Horsea 67 by Shinya Komatsu is an underwater scene of coral and rising bubbles. It sells for £26 to £33 raw.
- Fezandipiti ex 92 is the set's only Special Illustration Rare in this list, drawn by kantaro in dark red, orange and purple. Raw copies sell for £22 to £24, a tight range.
- Basic Metal Energy 99 is the second gold energy and sells for £17 to £37 raw.
- Dusclops 69 by James Turner sits at £13 to £25 raw. Its PSA 10 median of £129 is about six times the raw middle of £21.
- Munkidori 72 by Teeziro sells for £15 to £19 raw.
- Dusknoir 70, also by James Turner, just misses the table. Eight raw sales between 14 and 16 October ran from £9 to £27 after trimming, with a middle of about £17.
How we priced these cards
We read the most recent raw eBay completed sales for each card, up to ten, from CardTrack's sold-sales ledger, which covers the UK, US and other eBay sites. With six or more sales we drop the single highest and lowest, then quote the range of the rest. With four or five sales we show the middle only, and we leave out cards with fewer than four. Dollars are converted at £0.7499 (16 October 2026).
PSA 10 figures are the median of PSA 10 completed sales, shown only where at least 500 copies hold that grade. The population figures are PSA's own counts as recorded in the ledger. The full method is in our guide on how to value Pokémon cards.
A note on pull rates
We do not publish pull rates for Shrouded Fable. There are no official odds, and community estimates vary with sample size and product. Our guide to pull rates explains why.
Collector notes
- Three cards by James Turner. Duskull 68, Dusclops 69 and Dusknoir 70 are numbered in a row, and the Dusclops card reads "Evolves from Duskull". The three together are an easy mini-collection.
- Two gold energies. Basic Darkness Energy 98 and Basic Metal Energy 99 are both Hyper Rares. Darkness sells for roughly double Metal at the middle, about £40 against £22.
- Numbers above the printed total. Persian is marked 078/064 on the card face, so a number higher than 64 is normal for the Illustration Rares and above.
- Graded supply is deep on the Illustration Rares. Persian, Houndoom and Duskull all have PSA 10 populations in the thousands, so slabs are easy to find.
- Read the rarity in the listing. Our guide to holo and reverse holo cards and our page on rarity symbols show how to tell the versions apart.
