Sealed Pokémon products
Sealed product is where we start, because it is the part of the hobby where sourcing matters most and where it is easiest to get wrong. A box is only as good as the chain it came down.
Here is how we will do it. Every sealed product we list will come from a UK or EU distributor, from Pokémon Center, or from a retailer we bought it from ourselves, and each product page will say which. We will not buy sealed product from marketplaces or from private sellers, however good the deal looks, because a resealed box is indistinguishable from the outside and we are not willing to pass that risk to you.
When a case or a box arrives we will look at the shrink wrap for the factory seam and the pull-tab, weigh a sample of packs against the known weight for that set, and reject anything that looks tampered with. If a product has a Pokémon Center edition and a standard edition we will list them separately, because they are different products with different contents.
The types below each have their own page explaining what is physically inside, who it suits and what we would choose it over. If you already know what you want, go straight to the set: every set page lists the sealed products from that set we plan to carry.
By product type
Questions we get asked
Which type should a new collector start with?
An Elite Trainer Box, usually. It is the one product that comes with sleeves, dice and a storage box as well as packs, so it is a complete start. The guide on booster box vs ETB vs bundle vs tin goes through the trade-offs.
Will you open boxes to sell packs loose?
No. Loose packs we list will come as loose packs from the distributor, in their own sleeve or blister. A pack from a box we opened ourselves would be a pack we could have weighed, and we do not want that question hanging over anything we sell.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Not at launch. Pages are written for UK collectors first. Shipping elsewhere comes later, and when it does the product pages will not change, only the delivery options.
