Best One Piece Packs to Buy

The best One Piece packs to buy are the main-series boosters for the set you most want to open, and PRB-02 if you want at least one Super Rare or better in every pack. Bandai's English product pages list one booster pack per set. The pages for the recent sets do not say how many packs go in a box, so this guide compares sets and tells you how to check a box before you pay.

The packs compared

Every row comes from Bandai's own page for that set, read on 2 November 2026. In "card types", the figure after the plus is the DON!! cards on the pages that give a breakdown.

OP-18 The Dominance of God (127+1 card types) is listed for 20 November 2026, and Bandai says its cards become tournament legal 7 days after that. If you want the very newest set, you may prefer to wait for it.

Booster, extra booster and premium booster

Bandai sorts its packs into three kinds. A standard booster pack is a main set coded OP, such as OP-17. An Extra Booster is coded EB, like the Heroines sets, and a Premium Booster is coded PRB, like The Best. Bandai describes the extra and premium kinds as special edition packs that sit alongside the standard ones.

OP14-EB04 and OP15-EB04 carry both codes on Bandai's pages, and Bandai calls them booster packs. Use the full code on the box when you compare listings, because two sets with similar names are different products.

What a booster box holds

Check this before you buy, because Bandai's English pages for the recent sets are silent on it. They give card types and rarities for a set, and they do not state the packs in a box or the cards in a pack. The one English page that does is EB-01 Memorial Collection from May 2024, which lists 12 cards per pack and 24 packs per box. Do not assume a newer set matches that figure.

A sealed booster box is a quantity of one set's packs, so count the packs printed on the outer box and ask the seller if the listing is vague. Bandai's own wording applies to all of them: the cards are random, and multiples of one card may appear, so a full set is hard to assemble from one box.

Once you have the pack count, work out the cost of one pack yourself: take the delivered total, postage included, and divide it by the packs you counted. Do the same for a Double Pack Set by dividing by its 2 packs, and remember that set also pays for a DON!! card and a case. Compare delivered totals between sellers and ignore crossed-out figures and countdown timers.

This guide does not forecast what any sealed product will be sold for later. It compares what Bandai says is in each set.

Choose a pack by what you want

• A new set to play with: OP-17 is the latest main-series booster. Bandai's pages for several recent sets say the cards are tournament legal 7 days after launch in your region, and legal from pre-release at a local game store.
• At least one Super Rare or better in every pack: PRB-02. Bandai calls it a deluxe pack and says it suits upgrading starter decks.
• A deck around a Leader: OP-13 for Roger and Imu, OP-14 for the Seven Warlords, OP-16 for Paramount War Leaders such as Sengoku and Yamato. Our OP-13 pack page and OP-16 pack page list each.
• A themed collection: the Heroines extra boosters, EB-03 and EB-05, which are built around the female characters and add SP cards.
• Alt-Art Leaders: OP-09 for the four new Emperors as Super Alt-Art cards.

Our opinion is that PRB-02 is the safest first pack to open for a player, because Bandai guarantees the floor, while a main set suits you if you want its Leaders. The best One Piece cards guide has the card detail for each set.

Smaller ways to buy packs

You do not have to buy a box. Bandai sells smaller formats that contain packs.

Our Double Pack Set Vol.4 page is one example. If you only want to learn the game, a starter deck is a better first purchase than a box, and the best One Piece starter decks guide compares them.
