Buy Pokémon Collection Boxes UK

A collection box is a boxed product built around a promo card or a few of them, with booster packs and sometimes accessories alongside. The name on the box tells you the tier: Collection, Special Collection, Premium Collection, Super-Premium Collection, Ultra-Premium Collection. The higher the tier, the more packs and the more extras, and the more the box costs.

What the tiers hold

A plain Collection usually has one or two foil promo cards and two to four packs. A Premium Collection adds more packs, often a playmat or a pin, and sometimes an oversized card. A Super-Premium or Ultra-Premium Collection is the top of the line for a set: 151's Ultra-Premium Collection holds sixteen packs, three foil promo cards, a metal card, a playmat, sleeves and a deck box. Every product page will quote the contents from the back of the box, because the tiers are not consistent from set to set and the name alone does not tell you the pack count.

Which sets have them

Nearly all of them, and in numbers: a set like Prismatic Evolutions or Ascended Heroes can have a dozen collection products across the tiers, from binder collections and tech sticker collections to poster collections and premium figure boxes. The ones we plan to carry first are the ones people ask for by name, which in practice means the top-tier box for the big sets. The rest have pages for when the shop opens.

Who a collection box suits

A promo collector, because the promo cards in collection boxes are often the only way to get those prints. A gift buyer, because the box is designed to be given. A pack-opener should look at the pack count against the cost and compare it to a bundle or an ETB; the packs in a collection box are the same packs, and you are paying for the promos and extras.

How we will check them

Collection boxes are shrink-wrapped and most have a window showing the promo. We will check the wrap, confirm the promo visible through the window matches the box, and refuse anything with a replaced or missing window card. Larger boxes will be shipped in an outer box with padding, because the printed box is part of what you are buying.
